CHA will be using Fruit Focus 2012 to promote export opportunities to the UK fresh produce industry. In particular the association will be inviting interested British companies to exhibit on its dedicated UK pavilion at Fruit Logistica 2013 in Berlin, Germany (6-8 Feb).

Fruit Logistica is the leading world event for the international fresh produce industry. It offers the sectors connected to the fresh fruit and vegetable business an ideal opportunity to present their products to a truly international audience.

In its 20th year, Fruit Logistica 2012 attracted more than 56,000 trade visitors from 127 countries. And over 2,500 satisfied exhibitors from 83 different nations underlined the exhibition’s status as the number one event in the international fresh produce calendar. Fruit Logistica 2013 takes place at Messe Berlin from 6-8 Feb 2013.

As an Accredited Trade Organisation with the government department UK Trade & Investment, CHA has secured government grant support on behalf of its members and the UK fresh produce industry at this industry leading event. Eligible exhibitors may be able to reclaim £1400 against their costs of exhibiting under the UKTI Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP).

This offers a valuable opportunity, particularly for new or inexperienced exporters taking their first steps into international markets. Participation as part of the UK pavilion offers a discounted, low-cost and fully supported presence which could otherwise be beyond the resources of companies new to export or wishing to simply explore the market opportunities.

This co-ordinated approach allows for a much higher profile at the event. CHA liaises and negotiates on members’ behalf with event organisers, stand designers and sub-contractors, and arranges a comprehensive stand support package which eases the path to exhibiting for individual participants.

CHA’s full support package includes comprehensive PR and promotional campaigns up to and during the show – along with follow up publicity to promote success stories.
