Jones Garden Centre, Donabate, Co. Dublin require a Horticulturist
The Ideal Candidate: Â Â Â
- Two-year Horticulture Diploma from a recognized University, College or Technical Institute plus two years of job-related experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the establishment and maintenance of plants, pruning, fertilizing, pests and diseases
- Ability to use a variety of horticulture tools and equipment
- Independent decision-making and problem-solving
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Must have passion, initiative, responsibility, and pride in what you do
 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Garden Centre to the highest standards
- Responsible for the management of waste in the Garden Centre
- Delivering exceptional customer service by focusing on the things that matter to customers
- Deliver expert advice and service to our customers
- Merchandising Stock to company principles
- Maintain and seek to improve excellent levels of products knowledge
- Ensure all customer-facing information (tickets, POS etc.) is accurate and up to date
- To comply with health and safety regulations
- To be fully engaged with the store team, working flexibly to provide support to all areas of the store as required, in order to reflect the needs of our customer and the varying demands of our business
- Security Awareness
- Assist with the Store stocktaking when required
- Work across all areas of the Store as required
- Carry out all reasonable tasks and duties as required

- Working week 5 out of 7 days;
