Fitzgerald Nurseries are hiring General Nursery Operatives
The successful candidate will be working as part of an existing growing team, with responsibility for all areas of plant growth from planning the production for the year, sourcing plants and ensuring top quality plants are produced to strict deadlines to meet customer demands.
Essential:
- Relevant Horticulture Qualification
- Proven Horticulture track record in a glasshouse environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have a clean driving licence
- Must be willing to work evenings and Saturdays as required
- Good mechanical knowledge of nursery machinery and equipment
- Excellent plant and product knowledge
- Good attention to detail in all tasks
- Excellent level of written and verbal communication in English
