Are you an experienced landscape worker who can lead a team to strive to meet company goals? If so, look no further than SAP Landscapes. As Irelands largest landscaping company, we are currently recruiting experienced & professional landscape workers to join our expanding organisation. Due to growth, we are looking to generate several more teams on the field & we are looking for the right leaders to work alongside a team of 2/3 General Operatives to direct & guide them when completing works. The Foreperson will lead their team whilst also ensuring the delivery of quality service.

Duties of a Foreperson: 

  • Leading and managing a team of 2-3 people in the undertaking of a variety of landscape contracts under the supervision and support of the Contracts Supervisor and Contracts Manager
  • Following and implementing construction plans as per specifications/schedule of works
  • Scheduling of materials and plant/machinery for site
  • Operating and maintaining various plant and machinery associated with the site works
  • Ensuring finished work is completed by the crew to a high standard and in a timely fashion
  • Managing the safety of colleagues on site
  • Reporting all accidents & incidents to the Contracts Manager / H&S Department
  • Quality control/monitoring of incoming materials

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong motivation as a self-starter with good interpersonal skills and initiative
  • Experience in staff supervision and training of General Operatives
  • Attention to detail in order to carry out work as set out on landscapes drawings
  • The ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role/industry
  • Must hold a full driving license
  • Must hold a B+E license
  • Holder of CSCS & Safe Pass Cards (desired)
