GROOTGROENPLUS – Particularly extensive participant profiles in 2020

Since trade fair GrootGroenPlus will host a digital edition of the trade fair this year, it is very important that the participants get the chance to clearly present themselves to visitors. The renewed participant profile will help them do just that. All participants will have their own web page, which includes a lot of new features this year, such as a chat, contact through social media, video calls, video integration, and presenting the current stock or assortment – which can easily be searched by plant or part of the plant name.

To visit the participants, visitors do not have to log on or register; they can access the over 155 profiles at all times and use the buttons to contact the participant easily. All you need is access to the Internet.

Good to know: From 30 September – 2 October, GGP will also be streaming Dutch and English videos of participants. These videos will show plants and products, with a reference to the digital stand number.

The expansion of the profiles isn’t just a one-time thing; it will continue in 2021. The participant list on the website and in the app combined will serve as the interactive trade fair guide.

Complete program trade fair GrootGroenPlus – also online!

Of course, during the digital edition of trade fair GrootGroenPlus, which will be held from 30 September – 2 October, there will be a complete trade fair program. To this end, a professional studio is being built at the trade fair location in Zundert.

In this studio, many 15-minute-talks with speakers, partners, and experts will be recorded. A camera crew, sound technician and interpreter will make sure that the live program is accessible to all viewers.

The complete program will be uploaded to the quadrilingual app and the website very soon. There will be a discussion table for the opening, one for the award ceremony of the Zunderts Groen Imago Prijs (ZGIP), one for the novelty inspections and there will be discussion tables on the Road Show and biodiversity. Partner tables with Varb, Rabobank, Hortipoint, and De Bode are also scheduled. Some discussion tables will be preceded by a short introductory movie.

Since we won’t be doing any press tours this year, we will broadcast guided tours at Tenax Tree-Plugs & Seeds, Damen Boomkwekerij, and Business Centre Treeport, and after that provide you with some information about Coöperatieve Vereniging Treeport.

This diversity will make it interesting to watch, and there will also be enough time for participants to properly promote their products. For instance, each participant will have the chance to create a 1-minute video, which will be streamed. This will include the stand number in the upper right corner, which makes it easy to get into contact with that participant.

The trade fair program will be divided into three days, freely accessible for viewers from 9:00 – 18:00 through the website and the app. They do not need to register in advance. Everything will be made available in Dutch and English. Thanks to this interactive setup, visitors will get the idea that they are really ‘walking’ past the stands of the participants, and are actually looking at all the products. This will create engagement between the public and the trade fair and participants, despite the different setup.
