NeighbourFood Markets offer producers a lifeline

If you’re a small-to-medium scale producer trying to find a route to customers through the lockdown maze, NeighbourFood Market’s online platform could provide the answer.
This web-based platform offers a contact-free way of shopping to a growing number of communities all over Ireland.

Shoppers visit the NeighbourFood.ie website and click on their local ‘market’ section. From there, they can order and pay online from a selection of local producers and call to a collection point in their local area to collect their box of shopping. Systems are in place to ensure no contact between producers and customers.
There are online markets already happening in Counties Cork, Kilkenny and Dublin with many others getting ready to go online.

Callan NeighbourFood Market, in Co Kilkenny, includes local producers such as The Little Irish Apple Company, The Flowerfield and Highbank Orchards.
