NAD (National Agrochemical Distributors Ltd.) are recruiting a Sales & Operations Manager.

NAD, established in 1979, supplies crop protection products to farmers and growers
throughout Ireland. The company is dedicated to providing its customers with quality
branded products and professional advice to cover both food crop production and amenity
horticulture. It is constantly striving to improve its service to customers. The company
operates from modern purpose-built premises with an adjacent trade sales counter and
dedicated parking. All NAD Technical Staff are professionally qualified agronomists and are
registered as Pesticide Advisors with the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine.

The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and successful individual to join the NAD Team
as Sales & Operations Manager.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales & Operations Manager is a senior and
pivotal role for NAD and will be responsible for leading and delivering ambitious sales and
operational targets.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales team to achieve sales, gross margin & cash collection targets.
  • Manage customer pricing and promotions to drive value for the business.
  • Monitor current systems and processes to increase efficiency.
  • Responsible for site security, fire safety and security.
  • Ensure site compliance with all Health & Safety Regulations and legal and statutory requirements.

The Person:

  • A strong academic background with a third-level qualification is desirable.
  • 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent negotiation, planning and execution skills.
  • Experience working as part of a senior management team.
  • Experienced in managing people within a customer service environment
  • Experienced in implementing continuous improvement measures
  • Experienced in leveraging technological advances to drive efficiencies
  • Resilient, very self-motivated with strong leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and IT skills – able to maintain working relationships with
    key stakeholders.
  • Valid and clean driving license.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.

The role will be based at NAD’s offices at Blake’s Cross, Lusk, Co. Dublin, K45 H525.
