Bord Bia is introducing new dual financial supports in 2015. In addition to the traditional MAP scheme, companies with a turnover between €100,000 and €5 million can now apply for support under our new Step Change Fund (SCF). Under this fund, up to €50,000 in grant support per company is available, although support will be limited to approx. 8 companies in 2015.
Important Notes:
- The closing date for receipt of applications for both MAP and SCF is Friday 6th February 2015. Late applications will not be accepted.
- Applications should be submitted as early as possible before the deadline date
- Applications for the SCF must demonstrate significant new activities or a major new project, which will involve a substantial step change or departure for the company.
- The MAP is aimed at companies with a turnover between €100,000 and €3.5m.
- The SCF is aimed at companies with a turnover between €100,000 and €5m.
- The turnover of linked and partner enterprises in a group will also be taken into account to determine eligibility
- Completed application forms should be typed, saved as an MS Word document and e-mailed back to jimmy.corr@bordbia.ie. Handwritten or hardcopy applications will not be accepted.
- Activities undertaken prior to the receipt of the application by Bord Bia, will not be eligible for support.
- Only activities that occur in 2015 will be eligible for support for MAP
- Only activities that occur in 2015 and 2016 will be eligible for SCF
