Fruithof, a complete supplier of fruit trees and plants, lets consumers enjoy home grown fruits from their own garden. With two new fresh sales concepts they focus on new target groups. These sales concepts where shown for the first time in 2018 and now they are developed even further and presented during Plantarium.
Wonder Tree
Biggest pride are the ‘Wonder Trees’ developed by owner Wim Kersten. This innovative range of fruit trees consists of compact, strong trees that guarantee a wonderful production of tasty fruits due to a new way of breeding.
The innovation of these trees is the way of grafting in combination with the special slow-growing rootstocks. Unlike regular fruit trees, the Wonder Tree has a longer rootstock of about 60 cm up to the graft. As a result the tree hardly grows and gives uses all its energy for forming flower buds and giving many and delicious fruit. Because of the long rootstock with high ent a tree with a straight trunk is created; something which is visually attracting consumers. The range includes only the very best varieties of apple, pear, plum and cherry. Pruning is not necessary, which makes the Wonder Tree particularly suited for all consumers and for both large and small gardens.
City Gardening
The presentation line ‘City Gardening’ consists of patio fruit, dwarf fruit trees, column fruit trees and various types of compact growing soft-fruits. For fruit trees and plants it is often thought to be only suitable for a large garden. To emphasize that fruit trees also fit very well in a small garden, an exclusive City Gardening line is developed by Fruithof. The compact plants from the City Gardening collection are all easy to maintain fruit trees and fruit plants suitable for city gardens, the terrace and the balcony.
The plants are doing fine in a pot and give tasty and lots of fruit. Of course they can also be planted in the ground and they are also beautiful in a pot on the terrace in a large garden.
Presentation
For the presentation of these concepts Fruithof developed three unique sales modules. The unique sales modules with storytelling are the ideal way to offer green products in a garden centre to the consumer. Due to their special design and unique appearance they will surely attract the attention.
The modules are made of galvanized steel and are decorated with colorful and fruity signage.
