Waterford’s leading chef, Michael Quinn, the Head Chef in Waterford Castle’s will serve up a banquet for the masses in the centre of Waterford city. Come join us in Bolton Street for the GIY Street Feast. This unmissable event will bring 750 people together to celebrate the harvest, so join us and break bread with your fellow Waterfordians.
The GIY Street Feast will be an unforgettable, outdoor “field-to-table” dining experience. The banquet tables will be heaving with sumptuous, seasonal bounty from Waterford’s farmers, fishermen, and local growers. On arrival youwill receive a glass of locally-produced sparkling spirit, the main course will be 8 different buffet stations featuring mouth watering beef or lamb, locally-reared free range bacon, freshly caught fish from Dunmore East or smoked trout from Kilkenny. All the sides and trimmings will be locally grown or produced.
As befitting a GIY event, vegetarian options are available. Entertainment will include live music and special guests! Join us for what will be an unmissable night.
