Garden Trials and Trade 2018 will take place for the first time on 12, 13 and 14 June in the Plantarium building at the International Trade Centre in Boskoop-Hazerswoude. Thirty-four companies, including a number of foreign participants, will present their novelties and innovations in the field of woody plants and perennials.
The second week of June has traditionally been a week in which presentations of novelties can be seen at various locations in the Netherlands. This year, an extra location will be added in Boskoop. What is special is that the current innovations in the range of woody plants and perennials from 34 companies are being displayed at a single location. For visitors, it will certainly be worthwhile to include this event in their schedule.
Open structure
Visitors can expect a compact and well-organised exhibition floor. In terms of the layout, the choice was made for an open structure with 1.80-metre hedges acting as partitions between the stands. This will give the trade fair a beautiful green and transparent appearance. A place where exhibitors and their customers can meet each other is the Green Café, which is centrally located at the trade fair.
Customer contact evening
A customer contact evening will be held after the trade fair on Wednesday 13 June. Guests can take part in an informal get-together while enjoying a snack and a drink from 18:00 to 20:00. Exhibitors will invite their clients to this event.
Novelty showcase
At this first edition of Garden Trials and Trade, just like at Plantarium, visitors can enjoy a trend-setting presentation of novelties. The novelties submitted by participants will be assessed by and receive awards from the KVBC’s inspection committee. By increasing the number of assessments, novelties can be displayed at the best possible time.
