Duties Areas of Activity: Organic Centre visitor gardens and polytunnels, assisting the Head Gardener in a range of horticultural activities.
Elements of Experience: participants will gain skills and experience in the propagation, cultivation and harvesting of organic vegetables and herbs, specifically seed sowing, crop maintenance and use of hand tools.
Person specification:
1. fit and active, enjoys outdoor work, interest in organic gardening, flexible with good team work.

Description:
Areas of Activity: organic centre eco shop, assisting the shop manager in a range of retail related activities. Elements of Experience: participants will gain skills and experience in dealing with customers, operating the cash till and debit card machine, ordering stock and stock taking, dealing with enquiries and purchases by telephone and internet.
Person Specification: good communication skills, outgoing and helpful personality, numerate with attention to detail.
