Given its popularity last year, an expanded space on the main show floor has already been allocated to showcase and display this year’s New Product New Plant Awards for visitors. Entries are currently being invited from over 100 exhibitors confirmed to date at this year’s GLAS.

Given its popularity last year, an expanded space on the main show floor has already been allocated to showcase and display this year’s New Product New Plant Awards for visitors. Entries are currently being invited from over 100 exhibitors confirmed to date at this year’s GLAS.
Judging will take place during the show, with the Gold and Silver winners announced in each category that afternoon. The judges will score each New Plant entry based on usefulness as an individual garden plant, usefulness as a mass garden or landscape plant, usefulness as a basket/tub/patio plant, colour, shape, flowers (if applicable), foliage, originality/uniqueness, year-round appeal and commercial potential. While each New Product entry will be scored based on originality/uniqueness, usefulness to the industry, design & packaging, market potential, and environmental benefits (if any).
Supported by Bord Bia, this year’s GLAS is a truly unique opportunity for visitors to see some of the best New Products and New Plants on the market, or coming to market.
