Ireland’s Meade Potato Company will be at this year’s Fruit Logistica in Berlin, Hall 8.2 stand B-07, where they hope to increase their supply base and explore the market for new products. The company is well established as one of Ireland’s leading potato, fruit and vegetable suppliers.
Established over 30 years ago the company is specialized in the potato sector supplying a wide range of potatoes ranging from baby potatoes to baker potatoes. MPC both grow and source potatoes locally, nationally and internationally, depending on the seasonal aspects of the produce. Much of the salad potatoes are sourced internationally. The company ensures that each of their growers reach the requirements set out in their specifications with constant and consistent quality checks. MPC also have had experience exporting potatoes overseas in recent years.
MPC also grow, pack and distribute fruit and vegetables to retail outlets nationwide. They have a wide range of conventional as well as organic products. With their new temperature controlled state of the art 50,000 sq. ft. factory, Meade Potato Company now find themselves in the unique position of not only being able to expand on the rapidly developing current business, but also offering the “complete package” of packing, storage and distribution to any perspective supermarket chains/suppliers in Ireland, UK, and Europe. Meade Potato Company is actively seeking a European/ Global Partner to market and distribute their fresh produce to Ireland/United Kingdom.
