The ‘Life is Rosé by Santa Rita ‘Living la Vida 120’ garden will bring a flavour of Chile to Bloom. It is a contemporary space which blends arid and Mediterranean planting with strong architectural forms inspired by a visiting designer Alan Rudden made to central Chile. The hard elements are predominantly made up of earthy raw-materials with the addition of a steel wall which cuts the garden in two, adding a vibrant punch of oxide-yellow. Apart from a few key plants such as cacti, the designer has chosen plants that thrive in Chile but can also withstand the Irish climate, along with a number of large specimen multi-stem Arbutus (Strawberry Tree) to give weight and balance to the space.
The garden has been designed around Santa Rita’s commitment to ‘making people’s moments enjoyable’, and with a secluded seating area at its centre, it is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine al fresco.
