The garden – a composer’s retreat – is owned by a successful classical and film-score composer who is also a keen plants person. Having a particular love for tranquil and peaceful surrounds, the owner relishes the chance to reflect on compositions while undisturbed during summer evenings.
The garden serves as a place of creativity – to be inspired, to relax and to collaborate with invited colleagues within the tranquil garden environment surrounded with lush planting and the gentle sound of water.

This year’s entry at Bloom is Hayes Ryan’s 23rd individual garden design at the event.
Kieran Dunne of L&K Dunne Nurseries is a member of the Kildare Growers Group, which consists of six wholesale nurseries operating in Co. Kildare, supplying the wholesale plant market in Ireland, the UK and beyond. The group established the Kildare Growers Show, which ran for 24 consecutive years, and which has now become ‘GLáS’, the new national trade show. The group continues to remain true to the core values of assisting and co-operating with each other for the benefit of members and the industry at large.
