Over summer 2011, Greenmount Campus, Tirgracy Road Antrim is once again pleased to open its splendid gardens for the pleasure of the public and to allow prospective students to visit Greenmount and get a feel for the campus. The gardens will be open on four separate occasions.

Family groups and budding young wildlife enthusiasts are especially encouraged to come along this weekend . Activities over the weekend include; mini-beast safaris, bird watching, pond dipping, making bird boxes and other nature inspired activities for all the family. So why not join CAFRE staff and representatives of RSPB for a voyage of wildlife discovery and discover the variety of plants and animals that live in the garden.

However this is also a weekend for the gardening public and presents a great opportunity to visit one of Ireland’s premier walled gardens at the height of the growing season. Horticultural staff will be on hand to answer gardening questions or advise on horticultural courses at Greenmount.

Admission to the gardens is £5 per car
The opening times are 10:30am -5pm on Saturday and 1:00pm-6pm on Sunday (with last admission one hour before close).
