The Jungle Talks Pro Manager Mastercourse Floriculture is ready to take root for its 2024 cohort of young horticultural professionals between the ages of 25 to 40 years.
Apply today because only 15 applicants will be chosen this autumn from anywhere worldwide for an intense fortnight programme that includes educational farm tours, high-level networking, and inspirational sessions from lead strategic partners in the Netherlands and Germany.
The intensity of the two-week course fosters a strong team camaraderie, and the connections to make with peers from around the globe could be the start of new friendships or future business partners.
The Pro Manager Mastercourse takes place between 15 to 26 January 2024, ending with a chance to be crowned the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) Young International Grower of the Year at IPM Essen, Germany. This year’s winner was Eliot Barden, Production and Education Manager for Majestic Trees, UK. His visionary business pitch about the future of horticulture and how his company could participate impressed the assembled judges of horticultural experts.
Eliot says: “Winning means a lot. Thanks to the organisers, I’ve seen a lot of production in Holland in various different sectors, and winning the [YIGOTY] award is the cherry on the cake. The award is a great recognition.” Guiding, preparing, and motivating students on the Pro Manager Mastercourse Floriculture, are Renee Snijders and Ed Smit – the dynamic duo behind the horticultural broadcast platform JungleTalks. And powering the spark within the next generation of horticulturists are today’s leaders, including AIPH, Dümmen Orange, Hortilux Schrèder, HortiXS, Koppert Ridder, Let’s Grow, Logiqs, Van Krimpen and Visser Horti Systems.
Entrance for the Jungle Talks Pro Manager Mastercourse Floriculture is now open for future captains of industry aged between 25 and 40 who are on track to or already part of the board of directors of their company.
