In addition, our delegates will hear from two International Irish based food manufacturing firms who have very recently been accredited with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO50001 on their continuing journey to sustainability. These multisite International processors will openly discuss the challenges and experiences they faced during their journey.
Sustainability within the food and drinks processing and manufacturing sector has never been more important! For many years larger organisations have been realising the fact that environmental policies and energy efficiencies within processing is directly related to the bottom line! Reducing energy costs, carbon footprint and waste during the process of food stuffs can have a significant impact on the profitability of a facility. Additionally, as food manufacturers and their clients supply chains becomes more and more entwined they find themselves under increased pressure to reduce their carbon footprint.
The theme of Future in Food Ireland is simply to create an exchange of information between organisations that are on the journey to sustainability. Our speakers have been carefully selected based on their experiences and knowledge of this sector and are keen to network with delegates in an effort to develop sustainability within the Irish food and drinks processing sector.
Future in Food Ireland is driven by the necessity for sustainability in the Irish food processing sector and no other industry event has or will bring together such a high level of delegate and speaker line up as this conference.
