On Thursday 1st June 2017, the gates will open on Bord Bia’s 11th Bloom festival in the Phoenix Park, Dublin. The festival will host 22 show gardens; 13 postcard gardens; 50 floral and botanical art displays; 110 food and drink stands and more than 100 live talks, demonstrations and family friendly activities over five days from June 1st – 5th 2017.
Highlights on opening day include:
- 8.30-9.30am: Announcement of all Bloom 2017 medal winners including show gardens; postcard gardens; nursery displays and floral art exhibitions
- 11 am: Official opening by President Michael D. Higgins

Where: Bloom takes place in the Visitor Centre of the Phoenix Park which is situated on the main Chesterfield Avenue road running from the Main Gate at Parkgate Street to the Castleknock Gate.
