“Don’t Just Get a Job, Build a Business” Training Opportunity

QEDTraining, as part of the government training programme Momentum, has just launched a unique course called “Don’t Just Get a Job, Build a Business” that that will help people who are currently unemployed set up their own business in 2013. QEDTraining are currently recruiting 90 people to participate in the course who will set up a new business within 90 days of starting this programme! Starting in January, there will be four courses taking place in Dublin, Wicklow and Cork over the next 6 months.

“Don’t Just get a Job, Build a Business” is a funded by FAS and is open to anyone who is currently unemployed for 12 months or more. The programme uniquely offers people the opportunity to receive intensive training, mentoring support and work experience from the experts in Start Your Own Business courses at QEDTraining.

Some stats and facts about “Don’t Just get a Job, Build a Business:

  • QEDTraining are currently recruiting 90 people to train, mentor, and develop the skills that they need to set up and run a successful business starting on 28th January 2013.
  • As part of the course they will receive free training, individual mentoring, workshops and skills building sessions which will lead to trial trading and the successful launch of their business
  • Within 90 days these 90 people will be trading as a new business in the Irish economy
  • Based on research by delivering training to 90 individuals this programme will effectively be sowing the seeds for 175 future jobs within the next 3 years!
  • QEDTraining are experts at helping people start their own business and have trained over 6,000 individuals in Start your Own Business courses over the last 15 years.
