PLATO EBR aims to strategically assist Small & Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) for competitive growth in a crossborder capacity across the East Border Region.
The Agri-Food Cluster programme is open to established Food/Drinks businesses in the Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon, Monaghan Cavan, Louth and Meath areas area who want explore new market opportunities and develop management and leadership skills with potential to develop new sales opportunities in cross border markets (NI, UK, ROI). This Programme will bring together owner-managers of growthseeking businesses to:
- Strengthen their own management and development capacity through shared learning
- Strategically plan for business growth in the Food/drink sector, especially working across borders.
PLATO EBR is currently recruiting micro-businesses and SMEs for a Food/Drinks Cluster. PLATO EBR, is funded by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council and the Local Enterprise Offices and County Councils of Cavan, Louth, Meath and Monaghan. Businesses interested in exporting cross-border are invited to join the AgriFood Cluster of approximately 15 companies through the PLATO EBR Programme to work through an integrated programme of workshops, partnership working and strategy development.
Objectives:
The Cluster programme will place a strong emphasis on innovation within the business in partnership with larger companies that have been through the process. Once completed participants should have a clear vision for their export activity.
