In the current business climate, additional resources for the development of exports will be vital for the Irish Food & Drink industry.
Bord Bia is investing €1million in a scholarship programme in association with the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School for 25 future leaders in the Irish Food & Drinks Industry. The programme will allow high potential graduates from a range of disciplines, with a minimum of two years practical work experience, the opportunity to take part in a unique year-long career enhancement programme.
The Fellowship Programme combines academic learning with a foreign industry placement involving a series of assignments from Irish food and drink companies to identify opportunities in overseas markets and has the potential to generate up to €20 million in sales for the companies involved over the next three years.
This is the fourth year of the programme and to date the placements of participants in overseas markets has benefitted more than 100 Irish food companies.
If your company would like the opportunity to have an additional resource working on an export assignment specifically for your company with the full support of Bord Bia in 2012 then the Bord Bia Marketing Fellowship offers you a high-impact, low risk export development opportunity.
If you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, please complete a Client Assignment application form by Friday 16th March.
