Bord Bia Brexit Barometer report was recently launched and gives some indicators of concerns for the amenity sectors and others.
Key areas investigated by the report include: Route to Market, Supply Chain Management, Customs & Trade and Currency.
Results for the horticulture / non-mushroom sector show our dependence on the UK market for exports (98%) and significant numbers do not expect alternative markets.
There are some quick take home messages at the end of the report – exporting growers need to be busy planning.
Video and presentations from the report launch are available here on the Bord Bia website.
