40th Annual UCC Food Research Conference

31 March 2011 – 1 April 2011

The 40th Annual UCC Food Research Conference will be held on Thursday 31st March and Friday 1st April 2011.

All postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers engaged in food research are invited to attend this year’s conference. Students and researchers interested in presenting relevant research in oral or poster format are invited to submit short abstracts. Abstracts for both oral and poster presentations are to be submitted by email to the Conference Secretariat at fstconference@ucc.ie.

The final date for submission of abstracts is Friday 25th February 2011. This deadline will be strictly adhered to as availability of slots for oral presentations is limited. Guidelines for the development of abstracts and posters are also available on the Conference website:http://www.ucc.ie/en/fns/Conferences.

As always, registration to attend the Food Research Conference is open to all – it is not a prerequisite to present oral or poster presentations. All attendees will need to register on-line at http://www.ucc.ie/en/fns/Conferences/. The registration fee for academic and postgraduate student delegates is €75. The registration fee for non-academic delegates is €150.

All registration fees include conference materials, refreshments, lunches and dinner. The closing date for registration is Friday 18th March 2011.
