This web-based platform offers a contact-free way of shopping to a growing number of communities all over Ireland.
Shoppers visit the NeighbourFood.ie website and click on their local ‘market’ section. From there, they can order and pay online from a selection of local producers and call to a collection point in their local area to collect their box of shopping. Systems are in place to ensure no contact between producers and customers.
There are online markets already happening in Counties Cork, Kilkenny and Dublin with many others getting ready to go online.
