The Garden Press Event returned for its first live event since 2020 last Wednesday, with more than 90 exhibitors and hundreds of visitors at The Business Design Centre in London.
The event, jointly organised by the HTA and GIMA, provides a chance for the garden industry to showcase its latest products and stories to the key names in garden press and media.
HTA Chairman, James Barnes, said:
“The garden press event is a unique opportunity for our industry to showcase their products, meet members of the press and discuss the issues of the day. It was great to see so many businesses, including some members of the HTA, networking. We hope this was a successful and enjoyable event for all in attendance.”
HTA President, Boyd Douglas-Davies, said:
“It was fantastic to be back at the Garden Press Event here in London. The Hall was packed, the show was buzzing with so much innovation in horticulture. Everybody was so excited to share their new products, their new plants, their business developments with the whole of the UK and beyond press.”
The day culminated in an awards ceremony, where entrants donated to Greenfingers Charity to be considered. The Little Hanging Garden Company took home the prize for ‘Best Stand’ and Wildlife World won the award for ‘Best New Product’ for their Natural Rubber Cell Trays.
