After the success of the first series, Home Grown Series 2 was a further celebration of the Irish horticulture industry, showcasing the many facets of our horticulture world to the consumer. The series aired on RTE 1 and the RTE Player, concluding last 27 March. It featured 28 horticultural stories in total.
Series 2 of Home Grown received a high viewership, with just under 200,000 people tuning in to watch for each of the seven episodes, bringing the viewing figures to just under two million.
Now Bord Bia is delighted to announce that a third Home Grown series has commenced filming and will continue over the coming months. The seven episodes in Series 3 will again feature a host of horticulture stories, and will be broadcast on RTE 1 and the RTE Player in spring 2025. ✽
