ILI CPD Webinar | Rewilding and the Biodiversity Crisis by Pádraic Fogarty
Date: 13:00 – 14:00 Thursday 13 Feb 25
Pádraic will help us see all the free and ignored services that are provided by biodiversity – soil regeneration, water treatment, air conditioning, waste disposal, flood control and carbon sequestration.
The climate and biodiversity emergencies are deeply intertwined and require a coherent response. Rewilding has been proposed as one of the cheapest, quickest and most effective ways (in combination with a drastic reduction in burning fossil fuels) to address this. This talk will look at the problem and why rewilding should be applied across Ireland.
