Flormart 2020
A ROADSHOW TO MEET THE SUPPLY CHAIN WHILE HEADING TOWARDS THE NEW EDITION IN SEPTEMBER
Flormart does not stop and raises the stakes: more innovation, more internationalisation, more promotion for the green culture. The preparations for the 71st edition proceed relentlessly. The exhibition of horticulture, landscape architecture and green infrastructure organised by Fiera di Padova will return bursting with novelties from 23rd to 25th September 2020. With its all-year-round commitment, the exhibition FLORMART is a benchmark for horticulture, landscape architecture and green infrastructures.
All-year-round commitment
Flormart is above all an all-year-round commitment, a real hub that contributes to the steady growth of the industry. This is why Fiera di Padova has planned a roadshow over the next few months to present its project to the horticultural supply chain in Italy and abroad.
In a few days’ time, Flormart has been playing a central role in two leading events which took place beyond national borders. The first event was held in January at Internationale Pflanzenmesse in Essen, Germany, where Flormart was among the supporters of the AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards, an award organised by the International Association of Horticultural Producers and dedicated to companies that stood out for innovative and sustainable production systems, methods or technologies in the international horticultural industry. Always in January Flormart coordinated the public debut of the newborn association of the Saonara horticultural district at Agro Belgrade 2020, a trade fair for fruit growing, viticulture and vegetable growing, where a delegation of nurseries from Padova area showcased their products jointly with a nursery from Apulia.
Production application and technologies
The new, anticipated edition of Flormart will return in September and will be centred around the values of biodiversity and sustainable production to be showcased in three sectors: the productions, the applications and the technologies for the horticultural supply chain.
The first sector will be dedicated to a wide range of plant and flower producers that make the green heart of Flormart. The sector of the applications will focus on companies that will present innovative solutions in matters of regeneration of green areas, landscape design, street furniture, green roofing and living walls, energy efficiency systems, technologies for sustainable building, maintenance and management of urban green spaces. The third sector, that is the industry-related technologies, will be the perfect showcase for companies specialising in plant engineering, greenhouses, irrigation systems, logistics and packaging solutions.
Flormart is the international Exhibition for horticulture, landscape architecture and green infrastructure, organised by Fiera di Padova. The event, which marks its 71st edition, brings together experts and companies from the green sector at an international level.
