Students from fifth, sixth year and Further Education are invited to experience first-hand college life in the Teagasc College in the National Botanic Gardens on Saturday, February 22nd from 11:00 am to 14:00 pm. Students will be exposed to what is involved in the examination and identification of plant material and how that is used in an amenity setting of the National Botanic Gardens.
You will also get to see demonstrations of certain machinery used in horticulture as well as finding out about what course types and careers would be on offer once you’ve completed a certificate, advanced certificate or degree in Horticulture in the Teagasc College in the National Botanic Gardens.
