To celebrate Adult Learners Festival the college is holding an open afternoon from 2pm to 5pm on Thursday 28th of February. This event will celebrate the key role of food in education from garden to table and show how it can be produced, at home, even in a tiny space.
To celebrate Adult Learners Festival the college is holding an open afternoon from 2pm to 5pm on Thursday 28th of February. This event will celebrate the key role of food in education from garden to table and show how it can be produced, at home, even in a tiny space.
The activities will include tours of the gardens, growing techniques in small or medium sized gardens and polly-tunnels will be shown. Health & nutrition information will be provided as well as sources of seeds and garden supplies, which will be in the college shop An Siopa Glas. A range of information on organic growing courses; part-time, full- time, distance learning and weekend options will be provided,
