Stephen Alexander Vegetable Crops Adviser at Teagasc says that the €4 million grants scheme will boost investment into the Horticultural Sector, covering mushrooms, nursery stock, fruit and vegetables. Closing date for applications is today. He also reports that a successful Brassica Growers Seminar was held at Oak Park Carlow in January with 2 UK guest speakers present and an audience of over 70 people.
