Meath potato farmer Pat Reynolds tried Seamungus this season on 10 acres of Lady Claire Potatoes at Tara Co.Meath. The area treated with Seamungus produced an extra yield of 1.4 tonnes per acre, and the uniformity of size was noticeable as compared with the untreated area. The Seamungus was used at a rate of 1 tonne per hectare, and was spread using a sulky fertiliser spreader.
