Last year, Plantarium and GROEN-Direkt showed that two trade fairs under the same roof formed the largest garden plant event of the year. In the coming edition, the next step will be taken by adjoining the GROEN-Direkt Product Promotion Square to Plantarium. The intention has been expressed to create a single grower’s square next year.
In a practical sense, cooperation is experienced through one parking policy, one entrance and one catering policy, while the identity of both organisations remain visible. Plantarium promotes the trade in horticultural products and offers its participants a podium on which to present their products to a broad international trade public, with innovation being the keyword. GROEN-Direkt is the number one wholesale trade fair in garden plants with a ‘living catalogue’ that can be purchased from directly.
Both organisations will use the coming edition of the trade fair to gauge participants and visitors on where even more opportunities lie for intensive cooperation. The management of both trade fairs has expressed the desire to have the results processed into a single mutual approach before the end of the year.
