Greentouch Landscapes require a Line Manager

Duties of a Line Manager

  • The Line Manager will have a hands-on role working on different projects: building, renovating, planting and maintaining garden landscapes
  • The line manager will direct and guide the other workers
  • The Line Manager will talk directly to clients and make sure they are happy with the service being provided and upselling them when appropriate
  • He / She will also have responsibility for supervising and training future recruits

The Line Manager will have:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients
  • Experience in staff supervision and training of General Operatives
  • Attention to detail in order to carry out work as set out on landscape briefs and plans
  • The ideal candidate will have good plant knowledge
  • Good experience in the use of all garden mechanical tools
  • Attention to detail in all garden operations
  • Have experience Laying  all types of paving
  • Have experience in Decking & Fencing
  • Have experience in laying Artificial grass
  • Have experience in Wall building
  • Have experience in garden maintenance

The Line Manager will have a say and his views will be taken on board:

  • When hiring new people
  • With on-field landscaping projects
  • When pricing up new proposed projects
  • Designing Planting Schemes
  • Buying new equipment that will enhance productivity

Requirements:

  • 5 years Experience in  Landscaping
  • Safe Pass & Manual Handling
  • Must be prepared and able to work to agreed and set targets
  • Experience in staff supervision and training of General Operatives

Your working hours

  • 7.30 am-4.40 pm (Weekend work available)
