Design Internship (North County Dublin)

Are you seeking the hands-on knowledge and experience to build a career as a landscape designer/architect? If so, we’ve got just the opportunity to get you started. We are currently offering a design intern placement working within our design, pricing and construction team.

A three-month, full-time placement working and training under the mentorship of our dynamic design and pricing team.

What experience and knowledge will the intern gain?
The intern will gain knowledge and experience of every aspect of design and construction from inception to completion and maintenance. This is an opportunity to work with the best, seeing projects from initial discussion right through to completion.

Is the internship paid?
An allowance will be negotiated on the basis of experience for the duration of the three-month internship. Subsequent salary will be negotiated on performance.

What sort of duties will be carried out?
The successful candidate will be based in our Feltrim office but will undertake site visits and client meetings as part of training. They will work on preparing proposals for a variety of projects under supervision and mentoring of the design and pricing team.

What sort of projects will the intern work on?
We undertake design and build projects from large commercial schemes, bespoke one-off houses, hotels, residential developments and everything in between.

What skills are required?
The right candidate will have a good working and practical knowledge of Autodesk and be comfortable working with computers in general. They will be a fluent English speaker and have an interest in building a career in design, an interest in plants and the environment and be available for the three-month period. They will be enthusiastic, able to work on their own or as part of a team, hardworking and committed to learning.

Although not essential, a full clean driving licence, a good writing, reporting and communication skills would be very useful.
