With effect from Wednesday 16th of October 2019 all applications for phytosanitary certificates for the purpose of exports of plant and plant produce originating in Ireland to Third Countries outside of the European Union, must be submitted via a new on-line Export Certification System.

Registered exporters can access this on-line system to prepare and submit their applications by using the following link: https://publicapps.agriculture.gov.ie/ecs/ui/#/captcha

Registered exporters are requested to familiarise themselves with this new system in advance of the implementation date of the 16th of October 2019. Details of procedures are available together on the main webpage for Registration & Procedures for Export Registration & Procedures for Export under the heading Export of Plants & Plant Products (Non-EU Countries). You can view a user manual at the end of this article which will also be available shortly with a video tutorial on the webpage.

An officer of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine will be available to engage with you in the event of assistance being required.

Applications submitted after Tuesday 15th of October via the current e-mail system will not be processed.

In the event that you have any queries in relation to this matter, please contact this office either by emailing plantandpests@agriculture.gov.ie or alternatively by telephone (01)5058885.
