Programme overview

Cut flowers 

10:00-13:20: the focus will be on the cut flowers industry with speakers including Emma Coupe from UK retailer, Marks & Spencer; Steven van Schilfgaarde, CEO of Royal FloraHolland; John Simko, President of the Sunshine Bouquet Company/Esmeralda Group and industry experts from Australia, Russia, China, Colombia, Kenya, Japan and the Netherlands.

Ornamental Plants and Trees

14:20-16:40: the focus will be on the plants and trees industry with speakers including Jan-Dieter Bruns, MD of Bruns-Pflanzen and President of ENA; Michiel de Haan, CEO of Royal Lemkes. An expert panel from Australia, Poland, the USA, South Africa and the Netherlands will assess what the sector needs to do next.
The conference will include a strategic session for the entire industry, looking at crisis management, financial prospects, market consolidation and consumer behaviour.
The event will close with an expert panel sharing initiatives from Brazil, the Netherlands, France and Chinese Taipei on how they have stimulated market demand.
