Johnstown Garden Centre are looking to recruit a Qualified Horticultural Retail Assistant to join their team
The successful candidate must:
- Be highly motivated with a proven drive and enthusiasm for retail sales
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst remaining totally customer orientated
- Have the ability to communicate with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority and liaise effectively with other departments
- Will have an excellent knowledge of plant care, maintenance and all things gardening
Responsibilities will include:
- Advising and assisting our customers
- Pricing and merchandising of our garden care products
- Maintaining a high level of product knowledge
- General housekeeping around the store
- Working on the till when required
- Any other duties assigned by management
Minimum Requirements:Â A recognised horticultural qualification.
This is a full-time position and the candidate will be required to work any 5 out of 7 days to include weekends and bank holidays.
