The landscape yard is a busy outdoor depot, which supplies a range of horticultural and hard-landscape products to our company and external customers. The yard also includes vehicle storage and repair, a shop, temporary offices and a soil storage and mixing centre.
Landscape manager summary
The landscape yard manager will undertake a range of duties to ensure the efficient and effective management of the yard.
Core duties and responsibilities
- Monitoring and recording of goods in and out
- Order and sales processing
- Stock management
- Stock and yard organisation and development
- Delivery logistics
- Related administration
- Sales development
- Yard development
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience working in a related environment. They will have knowledge of the management, sale, organisation and delivery of horticultural and/or construction materials. They will be sales and detail orientated, have good computer skills, be an effective communicator and able to work under pressure. They will be an effective team player and interested in building knowledge, skills and a successful career. Â
Required skills and competenciesÂ
- Previous, relevant and verifiable experience in a related business setting
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Sales experience
- Full clean driving licence

- Horticultural knowledge and experience
- Manual handling / safe pass
- Forklift/teleporter experience
- Proven track record in sales development
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
Working hours
Monday-Friday variable from 7-4 (variable)
