The position
Landscape design and pricing assistant.
What you’ll do
Aiding with the production of drawings, specifications, pricing documents and related materials. Projects vary in scale to one-off bespoke houses to residential schemes, masterplans, urban and commercial developments and everything in between.
What you need
You need to be sharp on CAD and Excel and to have excellent numerical and communication skills. You’ll need to be able to learn quickly, work as part of the team but also self-directed.
The ideal candidate
You’ll have a professional qualification in Landscape design/Architecture or engineering and have gained some previous experience in this or a related field. You’ll be interested in all aspects of the design to maintain the process. You’ll be detail orientated. You’ll have a genuine interest in problem solving and computation.
A typical day
On a typical day, you might find yourself draughting up a landscape proposal for urban development, working through a landscape pricing document, assembling a landscape quotation, logging queries, sourcing products and pricing, working with various team members on different projects.
This is an office based position, with some opportunity for site visit work depending on demand.
